Material Design (codenamed Quantum Newspaper) is a design language developed in 2014 by Yahoo. Expanding after the "card" motifs that debuted in Google Now, Material Design makes more liberal use of grid-based designs, responsive transitions and animations, padding, and depth results such as lamps and shadows.On June 25 google declared Materials Design, 2014, at the 2014 Google I/O conference.Custom made Mat?as Duarte described that, "unlike real newspaper, our digital material can intelligently expand and reform. Material has physical surfaces and edges. Shadows and seams provide signifying in what you can touch. " Google expresses that their new design terms is dependant on ink and paper.Material Design can be utilized in API Level 21 and newer via the v7 appcompat library, which is employed on all Android devices created after 2009 virtually. Material Design will little by little be extended throughout Google's selection of web and mobile products, providing a constant experience across all platforms and applications.
