UI Inspiration: Material Design Abduzeedo

Materials Design (codenamed Quantum Newspaper) is a design words developed in 2014 by Google. Expanding after the "credit card" motifs that debuted in Google Now, Material Design makes more liberal use of grid-based designs, responsive animations and transitions, padding, and depth effects such as shadows and lamps.On June 25 google released Materials Design, 2014, at the 2014 Google I/O conference.Custom Mat?as Duarte discussed that, "unlike real paper, our digital materials can intelligently increase and reform. Material has physical sides and areas. Shadows and seams provide meaning about what you can touch. " Google expresses that their new design language is dependant on ink and paper.Materials Design can be used in API Level 21 and newer via the v7 appcompat collection, which can be used on practically all Android devices manufactured after 2009. Material Design will gradually be extended throughout Google's selection of web and mobile products, providing a regular experience across all platforms and applications. Google has also released application programming interfaces (APIs) for third-party developers to include the design language into their applicationsBy 2015 the majority of Google's mobile applications for Android os got applied the new design terminology, including Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, Yahoo Docs, Slides and sheets, Google Maps, Inbox, all the Google Play-branded applications, also to an inferior extent the Chromium Google and internet browser Keep. The desktop web-interfaces of Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Inbox have incorporated it as well.The canonical implementation of Material Design for web application user interfaces is called Polymer. It contains the Polymer collection, a shim that provides a Web Components API for web browsers that do not implement the typical natively, and an elements catalog, like the "paper elements collection" that features visual components of the Material Design.
