Materials Design (codenamed Quantum Paper) is a design terms developed in 2014 by Yahoo. It involves the Polymer catalogue, a shim that delivers an internet Components API for web browsers that not implement the standard natively, and an elements catalog, like the "paper elements collection" that features visual elements of the Materials Design.
